Thanks to Almighty God, VCherish.com (website of VCherish Media Private Limited) is a reality today. In August 2008, when we conceptualized an environment friendly ‘online’ media and ‘electronic’ publishing endeavour that would provide “Young Minds” an opportunity to “Contribute, Express, Delight, Differentiate, Engage, Enlighten or Inspire” via “Articles, Web/Mobile Videos, Pictures and E-books,” we were oblivious to unfortunate futuristic developments that were waiting to happen – the global economic crisis, collapse of certain venerated international organizations, the tragedy of 26/11, the disheartening SATYAM saga and the impending economic meltdown accompanying layoffs and slower growth. We too felt the anguish and pain of these lamentable occurrences, and yet we were restless to make a difference through VCherish.com.

However, given the economic uncertainty and tough fiscal conditions that afflicted our small world, our dream was in jeopardy, and for most parts of 2009 we were wondering if VCherish.com would see the light of the day...and yet it happened because of God’s grace and the indomitable spirit, resilience, arduous effort and contribution of exceptional young minds (in-house team of VCherish Media and freelancer writers/contributors) with bushels of talent and energy. Our dream may be big, but we have opted for “small and selective steps” to get there…even Rome was not built in a day.

At VCherish.com you will find a variety of articles, pictures and videos encompassing big city and small town India, interesting facets of London, Italy and South Korea, and contributions received from New Zealand, Philippines and Silicon Valley, US. These encompass five categories of significance for Young Minds: Careers & Education, Engaging Talk, Truly Different, People Connect, and Recommend.

We are pleased to have made a small beginning with an environmentally savvy initiative – publishing of electronic books (E-books) for a new generation of readers who prefer digital to paper books. An E-book is an electronic book that you download from the internet and then read on your computer, laptop, and smart phone or on devices as ebook readers. We have kept our commitment to provide an opportunity to “Young” writers to e-publish their work with us and are pleased to present “Vibrant Palette” and “Fragrant Bouquet” for your reading pleasure.
